Megan Trapnell is the Fashion Designer and Founder of Dart & Grey, a South West-based fashion brand exploring the relationship between sustainability, innovation and contemporary luxury.

Founded from a desire to challenge conventional approaches to fashion production, Dart & Grey transforms surplus and deadstock materials from the marine and manufacturing industries into considered garments and accessories. Each piece is designed and produced in small quantities, combining refined craftsmanship with a strong focus on material reuse and longevity.

Since launching in 2025, Dart & Grey has grown its presence across the South West, working with independent boutiques, local makers and established brands on creative collaborations. Recent projects include collaborations with Princess Yachts and Jo Malone London, using surplus marine materials and coastal influences to create limited-edition pieces that extend the life of existing resources.

Megan’s practice is rooted in the South West, drawing inspiration from its coastal landscape, creative community and industries. Through Dart & Grey, she continues to develop a design-led approach to circular fashion, creating pieces that feel elevated, wearable and relevant while demonstrating the potential of surplus materials.
